Toyota Tanzania Holds the “11th Toyota Dream Car Art contest” In Collaboration with Road Safety Education to School Children.

The Toyota Dream Car Art Contest has been launched in Tanzania for the 5th time at Mbuyuni Primary School Dar es Salaam along with providing Road Safety Education to the students, by asking them to be extra vigilant when crossing the road. The entry will be open from 22nd November 2016 to 23rd January 2017. The contest, invites children from all corners of Dar es Salaam to share ideas about the future of mobility by drawing their dream cars. Every great idea was born in the glimmer of a dream, and we at Toyota hope that this activity will help nurture the creativity of the next generation of great inventors, thinkers and dreamers.

Part of Toyota Tanzania’s CSR, the contest is aimed at creating an opportunity for children to develop their interest in cars and help them feel the joy and importance of having a dream and in turn creating an enduring bond between children (the future generation of car owners) and our brand. We are not only asking children to draw their dream cars and win great prizes but we are also happy to see them crossing the road safely in this case road safety education in of importance to children.

The contest is comprised of the Local Contest and the World Contest. The “Local Contest” will be held in each participating country from November 2016 to March 2017. Winners of this contest will be entered as representatives of their own country into the “World Contest,” to be held in Japan, May 2017.
